Edison is an experienced tutor with a student-centered teaching philosophy that focuses on individual learning styles. Inspired by a teacher who guided him through his own academic challenges, Edison is committed to supporting his students with the same encouragement that helped him succeed. He has four years of tutoring experience, working with students of all ages and backgrounds, including those with IEPs. Edison emphasizes building strong foundational knowledge and making learning engaging through real-world applications.

Currently, Edison is pursuing a dual-degree program at the University of Southern California (USC), where he is earning a B.Sc. in Economics and Data Science and an M.Sc. in Innovation Economics. A recipient of the USC Academic Achievement Award, Edison is also a Data Analyst for the Daily Trojan and Managing Editor of the USC Economics Review. Prior to USC, he transferred from the Macaulay Honors College at CUNY-CSI, where he founded the CSI Finance and Economics Club and served in various leadership roles.

Outside of academics, Edison enjoys basketball, hiking, reading, and contributing to the New York City High School E-sports League, a nonprofit he founded. He was also a top-ranked varsity handball athlete and helped his team win the NYC varsity bowling championship.
